Upon arrival in Tangier, your driver will meet you at the airport or port. Begin your journey through the stunning Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. After breakfast, depart for Fes with a stop at the archaeological site of Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins. Continue to Meknes, an imperial city surrounded by massive walls. After breakfast, leave Fes and drive south via Ifrane, a picturesque town known as “the Switzerland of Morocco.” Continue to Azrou’s cedar forest to meet the wild monkeys. Drive through the Middle Atlas mountains, pass through Midelt, and follow the lush Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga. At the edge of the dunes, settle into your hotel and enjoy the sunset over Erg Chebbi. Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before riding camels back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower.
