2 Days Desert Zagora Tour from Marrakech

We will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech around 8:00 AM. The adventure begins as we drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering stunning views of traditional Berber villages and rugged peaks. Our first major stop is the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and backdrop for many movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After visiting the kasbah, we continue towards Ouarzazate and then drive through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest and most picturesque valley, filled with lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Arriving in Zagora in the late afternoon, your camels will be waiting to take you on a peaceful ride into the desert. Enjoy the sunset over the dunes before arriving at your desert camp, where a traditional Moroccan dinner will be served under the stars. Overnight in a Berber tent.

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the desert dunes — a truly unforgettable moment. After breakfast at the camp, ride your camels back to meet your driver and begin the return journey. We travel once again through the beautiful Draa Valley, passing through the town of Agdz.

In Ouarzazate, visit the Taourirt Kasbah, an impressive mud-brick fortress that once belonged to the powerful Glaoui family. After a lunch stop, we continue driving through the High Atlas Mountains and return to Marrakech by evening. End of the tour.
