- Itinerary :

Depart from Marrakech in the morning and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Stop for panoramic views and visits to Berber villages along the way.

Visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Kingdom of Heaven. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”

Drive through the stunning Valley of Roses and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, arriving at the spectacular Dades Gorges. Explore the canyon’s rock formations known as the “Monkey Fingers.” Dinner and overnight in a hotel or kasbah in Dades.

After breakfast, head to the impressive Todra Gorges, a paradise for climbers and nature lovers with cliffs reaching 300 meters high. Enjoy free time to walk and take in the scenery.

Continue towards Erfoud, famous for fossils, and then to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoying the magical sunset over the sand dunes.

Arrive at the desert camp, enjoy a delicious traditional dinner, listen to Berber music by the campfire, and spend the night under a sky full of stars.

Wake early to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a camel ride back to Merzouga, begin the journey towards Ouarzazate. Stop in Rissani, known for its vibrant souk and as the origin of the Alaouite dynasty. Continue through Alnif, Tazarine, and N’Kob, passing vast desert landscapes and mountain plateaus. Drive along the spectacular Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s longest palm grove, dotted with kasbahs and ancient Berber villages. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight at a hotel or kasbah.

After breakfast, visit Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate if desired, then drive towards Ait Ben Haddou for another chance to explore this iconic site if you haven’t fully explored it on Day 1.

Continue the journey back to Marrakech, crossing once again the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with several stops for photos, Berber villages, and scenic views. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon. End of the tour.
